Minimum age is 21 years for groups A, B,C and H, and 25 years for all other groups. A valid driving license held for at least one (1) year is required. The driver must hold a valid Credit Card accepted by Supplier for all necessary pre-authorization amounts.

Only drivers mentioned in the rental agreement are allowed to drive a Hertz vehicle.

Yes, you may add additional driver(s) at your rental agreement. This can happen either during your online booking process, by selecting at the 3rd booking step the service "Extra Driver", or at the desk, during pick-up.

Τhe daily cost is €5 plus VAT with a maximum of €50 per rental and per additional driver.

Upon pick up of the vehicle, Hertz will preauthorise an amount from the driver's credit card as a deposit for guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charges arise. Please note that the refund can take up to 14 days.
